The District Project Monitoring Unit (DPMU), Sambhal was established in November 2024 under the visionary leadership of the then District Magistrate Dr. Rajender Pensiya. DPMU functions as a district-level support unit dedicated to the planning, implementation & monitoring of government schemes in alignment with NITI Aayog parameters & development indicators.
Working under the guidance of the District Administration Sambhal, DPMU promotes data-driven governance, inter-departmental coordination & effective performance monitoring to ensure efficient implementation of developmental initiatives across the district.
Presently, the unit is functioning under the leadership & guidance of District Magistrate Shri Ankit Khandelwal. Through continuous monitoring, analysis & technical support to departments, DPMU Sambhal plays a significant role in strengthening public service delivery & accelerating the social & economic development of the district.
